Hi there,
A simplified bio of me: Toledo, OH, born and raised. Lover of houseplants, maker of charcuterie boards, and seeker of the next outdoor adventure. My coffee order is a hot Americano with a splash of oat milk & just a dash of hazelnut syrup. I enjoy portrait & landscape photography, working from coffee shops, and attending any live music show you invite me to.
The longer version: My journey into the design world began in the 6th grade when I shadowed a family friend who works as a freelance graphic designer from her home. Since then, I've wholeheartedly pursued a career in design. Throughout my childhood, I paid attention to the little nuances in design such as the textures on a restaurant menu, what cereal boxes were placed at eye level on the shelf, & what logos caught my eye. Additionally, I draw a lot of inspiration from my parents' creative backgrounds; my mom is an art teacher, and my dad owns a kitchen design company.
I graduated in what I like to call the class of COVID-19 from Bowling Green State University (in 2020) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. I supplemented my degree with photography classes, creative writing courses, and an internship at a local science museum.
Since my graduation, I’ve been an integral part of the marketing team at WD Partners, working as a graphic designer. In my role I continuously challenge myself, actively seek opportunity to collaborate with fellow visionaries, and have taken on the role of running the company’s social media accounts. I’m always on the lookout for opportunities to expand my skills and grow my career, & I hope you’ll consider collaborating with me on a project. Thanks for being here!
